Need to know: How to get to and from Valencia
Getting to Valencia is quite easy. It is among the destinations of low cost companies so there are plenty of flights to and from the town everyday. Once you get to airport of Valencia, Manises, you can reach the heart in many easy and comfortable ways.
The easiest and the cheapest among them is the metro (1.70€per fair). Alternatively you can take the bus shuttle, which will take you almost to the centre of the town (behind the train station) in 20 minutes at the cost of 2,50€. Remember that you have to catch the blue bus (not the yellow one) and the stop is on the upper floor of the airport. Getting from Valencia to the aiport is not complicated…you simply have to the do the previous steps but in a reverse order..!
For those who are afraid of flying, there other “ground”means to get to the town, either by train, or by bus. As regards train you should visit Renfe website (www.renfe.es) in order to check routes and timetable. Whereas for bus it is a bit more complicated as there any companies providing plenty of destinations. For example Alsa and Autores cover a lot of destinations and they are quite efficient and orginised. Visit their website and find the information you need.
